Our Pupil Leadership Team
Our Pupil Leadership Team (PLT) gives children a strong voice in the life and development of our school. Representatives work together to share the views, ideas and opinions of pupils across Baines, helping to make our school an even better place to learn, play and grow.
The PLT meets regularly to discuss issues that matter to our children, gather pupil voice and help shape decisions about school life. Members may lead questionnaires, speak to other pupils, suggest improvements and work alongside staff and governors on projects across the school.
Being part of the PLT is also an opportunity to develop important leadership skills including communication, teamwork, responsibility, confidence and decision-making. Most importantly, our PLT ensures that children know their views are heard, valued and can make a difference.

Robyn
Hi! My name is Robyn and I am in year 6. I am proud to be apart of the 2026-2027 PLT - it is an amazing thing to accomplish. I used to do dance, gymnastics and swimming but I have stopped, however, I am thinking on starting dance again. It is a honor to wear the Baines Endowed badge. I wont just thing for me but everyone else.
Ryan
Hi my name is Ryan and I am in year 6. Outside of school, I do Taekwondo. Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and Olympic sport. I also love football but I'm not in a team. The reason I am in the P.L.T is because I want to help the school be a better place and add things to make team Baines the best it can be and the next P.L.T can carry on our legacy.
Reuben
Hi my name is Reuben and I'm proud to be one of Baines PLT members for 2026 - 2027. I am an actor, singer, dancer and musician and I recently released my first album that you can listen to. I'm super glad to be a member of this school years PLT as I think my ideas combined with students ideas can become the greatest voice that should be listened to. I think Baines chose the right person for PLT as I am determined, successful and respectful to all children big or small (as my friend once told me 'Love is the strongest power on Earth'). I want to make the school the best place it can be before leaving for high school. Thankyou Baines for the wonderful times you've given me.
Etta
Hi my name is Etta and I'm in Year 6.
I'm a dancer, actor and singer. I also got third in Baines Got Talent two years in a row. I competed in the dance festival last year for Baines Endowed. I wanted to become a wonderful member of the PLT (pupil leadership team) because our ideas can be important but it's the students voice that counts (quoted by me). My favourite subjects are Art and History because I love learning about WW2 and I'm very creative.
