Our Pupil Leadership Team
Our Pupil Leadership Team (PLT) gives children a strong voice in the life and development of our school. Representatives work together to share the views, ideas and opinions of pupils across Baines, helping to make our school an even better place to learn, play and grow.
The PLT meets regularly to discuss issues that matter to our children, gather pupil voice and help shape decisions about school life. Members may lead questionnaires, speak to other pupils, suggest improvements and work alongside staff and governors on projects across the school.
Being part of the PLT is also an opportunity to develop important leadership skills including communication, teamwork, responsibility, confidence and decision-making. Most importantly, our PLT ensures that children know their views are heard, valued and can make a difference.
