Admissions

The on-line admission system goes live on September 1st 2025 for the academic year 2026/27 and can be found at www.lancashire.gov.uk/schools.

Please remember to press the ‘submit’ button EVERY TIME you leave the online system.

During this period, all applications are processed and all preferences considered. Where there are more applications than places available, decisions are made as to which children should be offered the available places. The Local Authority will liaise and exchange information with all other Admission Authorities including neighbouring Local Authorities. The allocation and offer of a primary school place is then finalised.

In Year Admissions

If you would like your child to join our school during the school year (an in-year admission), applications must be made through Lancashire County Council (LCC). You can apply online using the LCC website. Once your application is received, LCC will contact you with a decision—usually within 15 school days. If a place is available, you will receive an offer and will be asked to confirm acceptance within five school days. If we are full, LCC will support you in considering other local schools, and you will always have the right to appeal*.

*Your appeal should be submitted using the link below within twenty days of refusal of admission. The appeal provides you with an opportunity to explain why you wish to register your child at our school.
